This website provides information about Stirling Flying Syndicate and G-ATON, our Piper PA-28-140 based at Shobdon. These terms concern use of the website. They do not replace or amend the syndicate’s Articles of Association, membership agreements or aircraft operating rules.
2. Aircraft information and weather
Aircraft specifications, handbook extracts, servicing information and weather observations are provided for general reference. Model figures may not reflect every item of equipment or modification fitted to G-ATON. Weather readings may be delayed or unavailable.
For aircraft operation, maintenance and flight planning, use the aircraft’s current approved documents and applicable maintenance instructions. Obtain an appropriate aviation weather briefing and check current NOTAMs and airfield information. The website does not confirm aircraft airworthiness, availability or suitability for a particular flight.
3. Membership, rates and bookings
An enquiry or website account does not grant syndicate membership, an interest in the aircraft or permission to fly it. Membership and flying privileges are governed by the relevant syndicate agreements and approvals.
Published rates are information about the syndicate’s charges. Confirm the applicable rate and payment arrangements with the syndicate before making a commitment. Changes to this website do not, by themselves, vary an existing agreement. Bookings and flight logs are managed through Goboko.
4. Responsible use and member access
Use the website lawfully. Do not submit spam, malicious software or unlawful material, disrupt the service, impersonate another person, or attempt to access information you are not authorised to view.
The member area is for approved members using their own sign-in account. Keep access credentials secure and report suspected misuse to the syndicate. Do not share private member documents outside the group without appropriate permission.
5. Website content
You may view and print syndicate-provided material for personal reference. Please ask before republishing it for commercial use. Photographs, handbooks, weather data and other third-party material remain subject to their respective licences and any attribution requirements shown. Nothing here restricts uses permitted by law or by an applicable published licence.
6. External services
The website uses or links to services including Goboko, Met Office data, ChatGPT sign-in and FormSubmit. Those providers operate their services under their own terms and privacy notices. Review the relevant provider’s information when using an external service.
7. Contact enquiries
Provide accurate contact details and only the information needed for your enquiry. The contact form is processed by FormSubmit and addressed to the syndicate’s contact email. Your contact details and message are used to respond to your enquiry. Do not include passwords or payment-card details.
Submitting an enquiry does not create a booking or membership agreement. Use established syndicate or airfield channels for urgent operational matters.
8. Accuracy, availability and your rights
We aim to keep the website accurate and available, but information may contain errors and the service may be interrupted. Please tell us if you find an error so that we can review it.
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
9. Changes and contact
We may update these website terms as the website or relevant requirements change. The date above identifies the latest revision. Changes do not retrospectively alter existing membership agreements or accrued rights.
